Our Erasmus+ participatory project has officially begun, bringing together relevant youth organizations and young people from Nyíregyháza, Rzeszów, and Satu Mare to foster closer cooperation in the field of youth between the three twin cities. One of the key values of this initiative lies in the fact that all three municipalities are already connected through existing twin-city partnerships.
Over the course of the 14-month project, we will implement at least four mobility events – a kick-off meeting in Nyíregyháza, a workshop in Rzeszów, another workshop in Satu Mare, and a youth forum again in Nyíregyháza. Additionally, we will carry out a SWOT analysis, conduct a survey in the three cities based on a shared questionnaire, and prepare feedback and recommendations to decision-makers based on the findings. We will also collect good practices in the field of youth work from all three cities and make them publicly available on a dedicated website.
The most important outcome of the project will be the creation of a Youth Coordination Council, involving additional cities, with the aim of fostering even more cooperation. This will help to improve local opportunities and conditions, making it more attractive for young people to stay and thrive in their home communities.
